Welcome to Kiddie College- A Learning Center!

My philosophy and perspective about what makes a great teacher comes from observations of my former teachers and mentors. Great teachers are willing to step out of their comfort zone and learn something new from the ground up. Then they’re willing to teach it to others. Wonderful teachers are willing to try new things to help engage their students in active learning, even if it means struggling at the onset with things like new technology. Lastly, they allow themselves to become partners with their students in the process of transforming a classroom or small group session into a learning environment.

I have used the methodology of “Inform, Experience, Implement,” real-world examples and active learning. In doing so, I have created some unique classroom/home experiences that have been successful, gaining me recognition for being innovative by my peers as well as parents.
